The Foundation provides an opportunity for private investors to be a part of this exciting era for sport in England following the recent 2012 Olympics boost. The Foundation will provide a mutual partnership between private investors and community projects - increasing exposure for the former and enhancing sporting infrastructure and opportunity for the latter.
This is a great opportunity for private investors to be recognised as a partner of the Foundation and a partner of grass-roots sport in England. Private investors, particularly commercial organisations, can derive clear benefits by providing sponsorship to the Foundation for new grass roots sports programmes, which will impact positively on local communities. The Foundation can offer private investors media coverage, national and local promotional opportunities, direct association with community sports and access to sporting icons for public relations.
If you are interested in becoming an investor in community sports there are a number of potential options available to you:
- You may approach the Foundation with the required investment along with a proposal for a sports project / programme focused on grass roots participation. The Foundation would then help develop and deliver your proposal with local community sports groups.
- If you would like to be a 'private investor' to the Foundation but do not have a project proposal; the Foundation can provide a brokerage service on your behalf. We will match your sponsorship to new and exciting community sports projects and programmes that we feel you or your organisation may like to sponsor.
